Placemat for Blind People

A placemat that helps blind people to more easily locate items on a table when eating at restaurants. This design was produced for a course project by me and a group of three fellow students in the HCID program at Indiana University. We ultimately submitted our design to the CHI 2012 Student Design Competition.

Child Hunger Clock Faces

Two clock faces that I designed using Adobe Illustrator. Each clock face indicates how many children in the world have died in a given day due to hunger. The designs were based on a concept to increase awarenss of a serious global issue. These designs were made for a graduate course assignment.

Blindness in the World Diagram

A facts sheet diagram that I created using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Paint; I also reproduced the design using HTML and CSS. The diagram explains and illustrates the prevalence of blindness in the world as of 2011. This diagram was made for a graduate course assignment.

The diagram explains the nature of a hypothetical design challenge and outlines a hypothetical student group's strategic design plan for the challenge.
