A placemat that helps blind people to more easily locate items on a table when eating at restaurants. This design was produced for a course project by me and a group of three fellow students in the HCID program at Indiana University. We ultimately submitted our design to the CHI 2012 Student Design Competition.
My current professional website. I began designing and developing this website in 2011 for a course assignment in the HCID program at Indiana University. Since then, I have continued to make changes to the website. I coded the site using HTML and CSS.
Two clock faces that I designed using Adobe Illustrator. Each clock face indicates how many children in the world have died in a given day due to hunger. The designs were based on a concept to increase awarenss of a serious global issue. These designs were made for a graduate course assignment.
A facts sheet diagram that I created using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Paint; I also reproduced the design using HTML and CSS. The diagram explains and illustrates the prevalence of blindness in the world as of 2011. This diagram was made for a graduate course assignment.
