I am currently a first-year student in the M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCID) program at Indiana Univeristy. As a student in the program, I am learning how to design interactive human-computer experiences that are tailored to the needs and characteristics of specific target users. I am also learning how to and being encouraged to develop a personal design philosophy. Currently, my design philosophy draws primarily from the fields of HCI, Design, and Psychology.
I plan to begin a career in the field of user experience design (or interaction design) after I graduate. In particular, I would like to help design user-centered technologies that can be used to substantially enhance the lives of disabled or disadvantaged people. I am also interested in helping to design user experiences for video games.
